Manage Virtual DataCenters

GCloud platform offers Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud service, which provides complete virtual DataCenter environment, managed by user.

By default only one virtual DataCenter is created, when new account is registered, but additionally users are allowed to create new virtual DataCenters, accourding to user limits.

Virtual DataCenters can be managed by clicking on vDataCenters left-menu tab and access All vDataCenters section from dropdown menu. (Img. 1)

As you can see (Img. 2) it is possible to edit (1) or delete (2) vDatacenter, add new vDataCenter (3) or access specific vDataCenter (4)

Note, that if vDataCenter is marked as Default vDC, you can not delete this vDataCenter.

It is possible to change name and/or description or if you have several vDataCenters, you can set Default vDataCenter by editting vDataCenter. (Img. 3)

You can create new vDataCenter by clicking on Add New vDC button and providing name and optionally description for new vDC. (Img. 4)

If you want to see resources of specific vDataCenter click on Enter link alongside this vDataCenter and you will appear on vDataCenter's resources page. (Img. 5)
